In case you haven't noticed yet, President Trump is on the warpath since the Dems failed impeachment (and as he should be).
On Friday, Trump's re-election campaign blindsided CNN with a massive libel lawsuit.
Why? For posting "false and defamatory" statements about Trump in which they claimed his campaign might try to get help from Russia "again" in 2020.
More from Fox News:
President Trump’s re-election campaign filed a libel lawsuit against CNN on Friday for publishing “false and defamatory” statements about seeking Russia’s help in the 2020 election.
"The complaint alleges CNN was aware of the falsity at the time it published them but did so for the intentional purpose of hurting the campaign while misleading its own readers in the process... the campaign filed this lawsuit against CNN and the preceding suits against The New York Times and The Washington Post to hold the publishers accountable for their reckless false reporting and also to establish the truth,” Senior Legal Adviser to Donald J. Trump for President, Inc. Jenna Ellis told Fox News.
At the end of February the campaign's legal team sent CNN a letter demanding they apologize and retract the false and defamatory statements.
CNN refused (surprise surprise).
Trump's re-election campaign says the damage done to the campaign amounts to "millions of dollars" which will be proven at the trial.
It's no wonder CNN's viewership has gone down the toilet. The network is so obviously biased against Trump it's pathetic.
Good on President Trump for refusing to put up with it.

Absolutely, surprised it wasn't done a long time ago.
